Custom House Brokerage Services

When we ship your import or export shipment(s)on your behalf, our in-house customs broker can complete our 1-stop shop (door to door service) by including the USA or overseas (not available in all countries) customs clearance & door delivery. All customs documents are reviewed in advance by the licensed in-house broker to prevent costly delays with rejected customs entries. Include the custom house brokerage service along with our shipping services to streamline the entire process and prevent separate firms dealing with each other & with different interests.

Customs Exam:

When exporting or importing, customs can require an exam, which happens randomly. Shippers can be exposed to two types of exams: X-ray or intensive. Shippers & forwarders alike have no control over customs exams. Baum Shipping will keep you informed & will give you the option to communicate directly with the bonded warehouse assigned to the exam site & billing. Once customs cleared & paid for, we deliver, coordinating with you to meet your receiving criteria.
